We love buyer agents! And you should too.

We must be going crazy. What are we doing?  We here are Abbott Klar Real Estate Group consistently offer half of our commission, as listing agents, to any buyer agent that brings the buyer who buys one of our listings.  Why would we do that?  Why not just sell it ourselves and make twice as much?

Because our clients come first!

When we work as Listing agents we are hired by the sellers to market the property and help the seller get the best price and terms for the seller.  The goal of the buyer agent is the exact opposite.  A Buyer agent works for the buyer (even though in most cases they are paid by the seller) to get the buyer the best price and terms on the property. 

A sale and purchase of a home is a big deal, and we find that everyone is happier and calmer when they have sound competant advice and representation through out the process.  We want the buyer to be well informed of the process, of the market, of the comps, and fully inspect the house so that there is less of a chance of Buyer's remorse.  This is a 'win-win' for all.  The full and expert representation of the Buyer does not harm the seller, in fact it makes it more likely that the buyer who goes under contract for the house will actually buy it and be happy about it.   And remember, in most cases, Buyer agents do not cost the buyer anything. The seller pays their comission but they are legally obligated to work for the benefit of the buyer. 

Buying a house is a big deal, and as a buyer, you should have expert representation to help guide you through the process so that you can reach the happilly ever after part of loving your new home.

We also love buyer agents, because we also work as buyer agents and know from first hand experience the value we bring to the table.  When not acting as listing agent we work hard to represent buyers as Buyer Agents. In fact we love helping buyers find their piece of the American Dream.
