Rockville Schools
With the community's focus on education, it's no surprise that Rockville is home to a number of well-rated elementary, middle and high schools. Rockville High School is rated number one among the city's 30 high schools. Private schools include the Montrose Christian School and the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. As the county seat, Rockville has several satellite college campuses within its city limits as well, including the Montgomery College Rockville Campus, The University of Maryland University College and The Johns Hopkins University Montgomery County Campus.
Living in Rockville
Numerous parks are located throughout the city, with some featuring hiking and bike trails. The Rockville Millennium Trail is a broad, well-paved path that circles the city in a 10-mile loop. Cabin John Regional Park boasts playgrounds, picnic areas and baseball fields as well as a train that takes visitors around the perimeter of the park. On the border between Rockville and Olney stands the Olney Indoor Pool, a public facility that includes a small pool for children and a large pool for adults. The Redgate Golf Course is the city's only public golf course, but there are also several private courses located within or near to the city.
