Friday, September 3: Watch a Movie Under the Stars

Spend a night at The Drive in At Union Market. This Friday they are screening the highly acclaimed, feel-good romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians. No car? No problem. Grab a blanket, a lawn chair and head on down. Get your tickets here.

Saturday, September 4: Go on a Family Bicycling Adventure

Embark on an urban bicycling adventure with the whole family. Family Bike Fest is an awesome and inclusive event that everyone can participate in. Enjoy riding around the District, free Kona Ice, have your bike tuned up by a real professional and even test ride the latest and greatest cycles on the market!

September 3-5: DC JazzFest

DC JazzFest is not just a music festival - it is a diverse and immersive experience that celebrates a deeply rooted, American art form - Jazz Music. Enjoy performances from some of the genre's biggest names as well as influential up and coming artists from the comfort of your home or head out to the Wharf to take in live performances. September 3-5: Eat a Sandwich and Do Some Good

Near the Wharf? Visit the pop-up sandwich shop, Belly Full at Gracie Gracie. When you do, 100% of the proceeds will go to helping Afghan refugee families via Kind Works. You can learn more about their efforts here.
